We are at war (3). What is our mandate for action?
“…against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil” Eph 6:12

The expert in the law responded to Jesus when asked what was written in the law “Love the Lord your God… and your neighbour as yourself.” Luke 10:27

Loving our neighbour means not only rescuing our neighbour when he is in trouble but also warning him against approaching trouble. That is why we must tell him about Jesus and forgiveness of sin. If we see a flood coming and we do not warn our blind neighbour then we have failed to love him. And yes, if we fail to give him food and drink and clothing when he is cold and starving then we have also failed to love him.

And if – when there is a chance of doing something collective about it – we fail to warn of proposed legislation that will have consequences for our children for generations to come then we have also failed to love our neighbour.

David van Gend’s book tells in detail the consequences of Stealing from a Child: the Injustice of ‘Marriage Equality that would result from legalisation of homosexual “marriage”. I challenge any committed Christian: if you think this is just about equality, you need to know what the consequences are and I plead with you to read this book and make it known. Otherwise you will have failed in your duty to love your neighbour and your neighbour’s children.

We need to know and inform. At the very least so we can pray intelligently.

Thomas Aquinas:
To bear with patience wrongs done to oneself is a mark of perfection, but to bear with patience wrongs done to someone else is a mark of imperfection and even of actual sin.

Martin Luther:
If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ.

Please pray that God will give us time to tell the truth and for the success of this book in telling that truth.
