Kitten Outrage – Another Perspective

On TV we witness the horrific attack on an eight-week old kitten, the public responds with outrage and we look at increasing penalties.
Yet we dismember babies inside the mother’s ‘safe house’ womb and call it ‘exercising choice’. Third trimester termination may entail delivery of the baby’s legs followed by puncturing the back of the skull – without anaesthetic – and sucking out the brain. Delivery of the collapsed head is then completed.

There is no penalty except to the terribly shocked but now dead baby.

When will we respond with outrage? Or would it have been OK if the accused boys had just punctured the back of the kitten’s skull and sucked out its brain?
